It's time for a little story about a process called Meiosis class.
Cells decided that they wanted more genetic variation so they divided into cells that would have half the chromosomes for more variation as the two recombined.
To do this two homologous chromosomes split creating 4 haploid gametes which have one chromosome from each pair.
These chromosomes are called daughter nuclei and will be the chromosomes of the 2 soon to be created cells.
This process of sexual reproduction called Meiosis is what allowed you kiddos and even me to be here.
It's time for lunch class!
