The Evolution of Honeybees
First, let's start talking about the Honeybee with a stinger. A stinger is used for self-defense against predators (humans). This will help it live for a long period of time.
Now, Let's talk about how the Honeybee's without a stinger. A Honeybee without a stinger wouldn't survive more than a Honeybee with a stinger. It might not become extinct, but there will be a low population afterwards a series of years (50-100 yrs)
Now, we need to talk about how long it will take until the certain species die out. Honeybee's with a stinger will not die out easily. Many of the species of Honeybee's have a reflex that when they sting their fighter, they can get stiff or die immediately. This doesn't really happen with bee's that you see around but it happens with bee's in Africa, Indonesia, Japan and other places that have exotic bees. When they sting they usually survive because they want to survive and reproduce and make some of their own.
