  • Leonardo Da Vinci was born on April 15 1452. The third hour of night in Tuscan hill town of Vinci. The lower valley of the Arno River.
  • Art
  • During his childhood he recieved informal education in mathematics, geometry, and Latin. It was only when he was 14 years old that he took up art training.
  • Visiting Rome
  • When Leonardo turned 20, he was able to qualify in the Guild of St. Luke, which was an association of doctors of medicine and artists. However, he was more interested to maintain his collaboration with Verrocchio.
  • Died May 2 1519
  • Leonardo started making a dream for his art in 1482 and was given permission to paint two paintings.
  • Leonardo visited Rome where Michaelangelo and Raphael. They were under the guidance of Pope Leo X.
  • Leonardo Da Vinci died May 2 1519 at the Clos Luce. It was also noted that during his last years, Francis I had become one of his closest friends.
