During a time, when magical creatures were still known by many, lived a mermaid, who went by the name of Ana, and the Wizard. The Wizard was known to have his lair in a tree near the Edna River, which is where Ana would swim. She would always see him around and people always going to him in hopes of miracles. One day, she over heard that he was gonna be going to deliver something important to the King. While the Wizard was leaving he took a book with him that was able to shrink into his pocket.
While the Wizard was on his way, she noticed that he was able to shrink the book to fall into the his pocket. As usual, she followed the Wizard, through the river, that would not be too far away from her home. Right when she was about turn around and swim back, she noticed that the book had fallen out of the Wizard's pocket. She tried to call him but he was been too far. She thought this was her opportunity to be able to experience outside of the forest while returning the book. When she picked it up, she noticed "Book Of Knowledge" was written on the cover. She also saw the first couple of pages were marked on the route the Wizard was taking to get to the castle.
On her journey, she had been swimming through the river, and come to realize that the bridge the wizard had crossed over the waterfall. She had a fear of heights but had been determined to return the book. She had decided that she was gonna jump down the stream of the waterfall, since it was the only way she would be able to get down.
Ana was successfully able to get down without being harmed. Although, going down the stream wasn't the hardest part. She noticed that the rest of the way could only be done by foot. She decided to look into the book and found that by saying a certain word, she would be able to have feet only for a day before going back to having.
After walking out of the tunnel, Ana was able to see the castle start to come into view. Yet, she also noticed the maize she would have to go through to get to the castle. When first entering the maize, she would be lost and end up stuck at dead ends several times before deciding to look into the book to see if there was a guide to help her. Luckily for her, this book this book had everything one would want to know at a given moment. So, within 10 minutes of walking and turning, she found her way out of the maize.
Ana finally was able to find the Wizard, who had been talking with the King, right before he was about to pull out the book. She called out to him and gave him the book. The wizard recognized the girl to be the mermaid and had been so thankful, he decided to show his gratitude by casting a spell that would allow her to keep her legs, so she can go anywhere she wanted any time. The King had been so happy to see the book that he welcomed her to stay at the castle for as long as she wanted and needed. It was then, Ana was glad that she left the river, for the first time in her life, to go on this adventure, that may had been scary yet was fun to do.
