  • Galen was a man who became the most famous doctor in ancient history. Galen made medical treatments where he cut people open and letting their blood drain out. He made best seller books and everyone believed him. He was wrong. When William Harvey came he went against Galen and told everyone what was really right. He shares this in 1628 in his book.

  • Johannes Kepler was born in 1571 in the Roman Empire. He discovered how planets revolve around the sun. He made his three laws of planetary motion.
  • The Scientific Revolution led to many great new inventions. This includes the telescope, microscope, barometer, and thermometer.
  • The microscope makes small objects appear much larger. It was made in the late 1500s. In the mid 1600s they got more powerful. The barometer measures changes in pressure in the atmosphere. We still use the thermometer today and Fahrenheit degrees.
