How does Rendon's Validation Theory affect student veterans attending college?
We learned in class today that the Millennial Generation are conventional and solid team players. However, they are also sheltered and feel tremendous pressure.
Homeless students have good coping skills. They also are very resilient, especially when it come to locating resources.
Higher education institutions are excelling at making minority religious students feel safe on campus by increasing their awareness across their staff, faculty and students.
Universities and colleges continue to improve their ability to serve students with disabilities by providing necessary resources. A wonderful example is by providing sign language interpreters for deaf students.
Rendon's theory creates supportive environments and offer opportunities to connect peers with faculty through socials, balls, and brown bag lunches.
