Purpose: Jack wants to find out which football can be thrown farther Brand A or Brand B.
Hypothesis: Rumors have been going around that Wilson brand footballs are better than Nike's football. Jack thinks that Wilson branded footballs can be thrown farther because it is filled with more air than Nike's branded footballs
Procedure: Jack threw the Nike football and the Wilson branded football starting from the 10 yard line, he threw both footballs with the same strength.
Data: Jack throws both footballs 2 times and both times Wilson got farther than the Nike branded football the first time he threw it the Wilson branded football got thrown 31 yards an the Nike got 17 yards. The second time Jack did it the Wilson brand got 37 yards and the Nike got 23 yards.
Results: The Wilson branded football got farther than the Nike branded football. The Wilson branded football had an average of 34 yards and the Nike branded football had an average of 20 yards, which is 14 yards less than the Wilson brand.
Conclusion: Jack decided to use the Wilson branded football that travels 34 yards because it goes 14 yards more than the Nike football. This will also help him to become a better football player. Maybe someday Jack will make it into the NFL.
