In this constitutional convention we will be discussing the New Jersey Plan and the Virginia Plan and how these acts will benefit the government and the states have equal liberties and representation.
I will be explaining the separation of powers and the checks and balances, the reason why we have 3 branches of government is to separate each power of the government to make it less similar to a monarchy rule, also checks and balances are put in place so that the branches of government can check on each other to make sure nobody is abusing their powers.
the federalists wanted a stronger government but the anti-federalists wanted to introduce the bill of rights to add on to the constitution. the bill of rights was important to the anti- federalists because they believed that the government should protect the human rights.
the ratification of the constitution was an important moment in history and it led to a lot of different events and new ideas for the government.
wow that was a great dream, i'm ready for my History test today!
