Here Tom and the devil were talking about the deal, but Tom was unsure if he wanted to accepted it
Later he talked about the deal with his wife, and she told him that if he was not going to accept it then she was going to, so she escaped.
He arrived at the swamp looking for his wife but instead he met with the devil, and they finally made the deal
"The devil take me, if I have made a farthing!"
Tom became a usurer, he took advantage of people situation´s to steal from them.
As Tom grew older he became very religious fearing that the devil may come for him one day.
One day as he was doing his regular business, his costumer accused him of stealing, so he replied with the following "The devil take me, if I have made a farthing!", and so it happened, the devil came for him and that was the end of Tom Walker´s story
