  • Lucille Ball was born August 6th, 1911 in a town called Celoron near Jamestown, New York. Lucille lived a very harsh childhood with lots of moving around, sorrow and shortage of money. She was only thee when her father had passed away and remembered everything that day even though was so young.Her mother remarried to a man named Ed. Ed hated children so he moved with his new wife and left Lucille and her brother, Fred with his parents who were very poor and strict. Fred and Lucille were finally reunited Ed and there mother when she was eleven.

  • Lucille was determined to become an actress at a young age so joined John Murray Anderson School for the Dramatic Arts. When she was in her sophomore year she decided to finally make her dream happen. So at only 15 she decided to drop out of school and become famous.
  • Her Career
  • She wasn't always a famous American actress, Lucille started out a singer. She was also a model and then became an actress. One of her famous shows that you might I herd of is " I Love Lucy". Later on in her career she met Desi Arnaz whom she married in 1940.
  • Choices
  • Lucille had many decisions in life and was very persistent on her decisions and thoughts. One of the major choices Lucille made is obviously becoming a star and becoming world-wide known. Lucille did marry Desi Arnaz but for only 20 years. In 1960 she got divorced and married Gary Morton, a comedian in 1962.
  • Dilemma
  • Lucille had many dilemmas in her life that she had to face. One is that she had a torn up childhood with very little love and compassion. She worked very hard and married twice. There were consequences and she was the first to achieve a International Radio and Television Society Gold Medal in 1971 and when she was eleven she was reunited with her mother. So after all she's been through she did get rewarded.
