  • What will I need to take to Ms. Fox's class today? Paper, pencil, book, homework, and a novel to read.
  • When you enter the classroom please pick up the journal article and begin reading it. When you finish write about what you have learned.
  • Please put your iPhones and iPods away. We will not be using them today.
  • I will pull name sticks and ask those students to share their journal. Please look at the objectives and pages we will be using for the lesson today. If you finish early you should preview the vocabulary words involved in todays lesson today.
  • We will choose partner groups and jigsaw the lesson material today. Please remember to choose a spokes person before you begin. Your group will share the lesson they are responsible for and answer any questions.
  • Your assignment is to illustrate the vocabulary from this section and to use the words in context. You may choose to do a storyboard, a written response or a quick video showing your work and using the words verbally.
