The American Colonists were not allowed to buy tea unless it was from the British. They thought it wasn't fair so they met us to plan a way to protest.
The Sons of Liberty dressed up as Native Americans for disguise.
On December 1773, Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty boarded British Ships and threw 342 chests of tea into the ocean.
After a while the ocean began to smell because of the tea. The British had lost 1 million dollars worth of tea. Eventually the British paid for the tea.
