The Hopi Tribe lived in desert areas what is now called Arizona. (100 miles east of Grand Canyon) This hot, dry, heated area of the desert makes it hard to find deerskin to make moccasins. The Hopi tribe ate corn with every meal. Corn would be used to make cornmeal. Hopi's would use cornmeal to make Piki bread, Pancakes, Soup, Porridge, Dumplings, Snack, and Desserts.
Oh, How I do like some good corn!
