Storyboard Text

  • Umm.. NO it's not! They have different rules and girls take a bigger hit.
  • You know softball and baseball are pretty munch the same.
  • In softball there is no grass on the diamond, just dirt, in that case the ball goes to the players with the velocity the ball was hit by the batter. Baseball players have grass to slow it down and the ball is smaller and less heavy. A softball is also bigger and weighs more so we take a bigger hit than baseball. Girls get down and dirty more than boys.
  • Boys throw over hand and are farther away from the batters box, we also have nine innings. We get down and dirty too you know.
  • Softball players pitch in a windmill formation 35 to 40 feet from the batters box.
  • Yeah! Sure! Lets have a sleepover!
  • I got the game ball today since my coach said I did a great job! Would you like to come over my house?
  • Yeah I did. I got to pitch for two innings because there are only 6 and other girls wanted a chance.
  • So did you win your game?
  • Sure! I bet I can point out the differences between softball and baseball!!
  • There's a baseball game tonight, we should watch it with some popcorn.
  • Oh no, not again!
