Aly begins to understand that making time for herself will help get rid of this weird feeling. She smiles at the teacher and gives her a hug. Aly just needed someone to talk to. The bell rings and before the teacher leaves she tells Aly to talk to the first person that walks through the door. Aly pinky promises she will.
As the kids start piling inside Aly looks over and sees a little girl sitting down eating her snack. Aly builds up confidence and slowly walks over to the girl. The girl looks up at Aly and smiles introducing herself as Emily and asks Aly if she wants to sit beside her. Aly had the biggest smile on her face and sits beside Emily.
For the rest of the class period Aly and her new friend Emily finished the project and goofed off together. They both realized they had so much in common. They both like the same colour, listen to the same music and even like the same sports.
Now it’s hometime, as the students start packing up Aly and Emily make plans for the weekend, they decided they are going to go to the park on saturday. As the bell rings, they both hug each other and walk their separate ways, Aly is slowly starting to like this place and the funny feeling in her tummy went away.
Ten years later Aly and Emily are still friends, don't stress too much about the little things, come out of your shell because it can bring good things.
