  • Achievements of the Byzantine Empire and of African Achievements

  • As for African government,it's similar to our government today.Just their government wasn't so strong,and they didn't restore much as for the Byzantine Empire did.
  • The Byzantine Empire and African governments were different from each other's government.The Byzantine government restored things like churches,palaces,etc.It also overthrew places,for example,Latin rule.The government was very strong.
  • The Byzantine Empire had a LOT of control over trade compared to Africa.In fact,the Byzantine Empire became rich because of trading.
  • While the Byzantine did well with trading,the Africans traded gold for the most prized possesion:Salt.
  • Compared to the Byzantine Empire,the Africans created high-level math,and they created information like angles,distances,the numerical system,and algebraic equations.This was all because of the Egyptians.
  • In the Byzantine Empire,they didn't really do much math compared to other empires.
  • The Byzantine Empire made art showing religious expression,and icons.They were all mostly for religious purposes.
  • Their art was usually made of wood or ivory,and had lots of detail on them.Their art was mostly looking like the shapes of people in odd forms like crunching down into a little ball.
  • Both of their geography were unique,but the Byzantine Empire's geography was beautiful,and lots of people loved it.They were near a few rivers,a sea with a nice beach,etc.It would be a beauiful beach vacation.
  • The African civilization was split into 3 parts: The Sahara-Dry,very hot,very sunny,it barely rains,and there wasn't much shade The Savanna-Lots of animals,lots of plants,streams,not too much rain The Rainforest-Damp,shady,muddy,lots of animals,
