Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • One day Zeus was feeling bored so he decided to go down to Earth. He met a woman named Alcmene. They mingled and had a child together.
  • I will call him Heracles.
  • Hera was furious when she found out. She knew that she couldn't kill a baby so she decided to wait until he was an adult to punish him.
  • Conflict
  • I cannot believe he had a child with that mortal. I will ruin that boys life!
  • Rising Action
  • By the time Heracles was an adult, he had a wife and two kids. Hera decided now was the perfect time to put her plan into action. She went into his room one night and filled his thoughts with murder.
  • Murder.
  • Climax
  • What have I done? I must turn myself in!
  • Falling Action
  • I will ask the Gods.
  • I have murdered my family and I understand that is wrong. However, I would like a chance to gain back my respect in the community.
  • I have come up with 12 impossible labors for him to do to redeem himself.
  • Resolution
  • Heracles woke up the next morning and found his wife and kids dead. He realized that he was the one that did it and decided to turn himself in to the king.
  • He went to the king to tell him what happened. He then asked the king if there was some way he could right his wrongs. The king was shocked because no one has ever done this before. He asked the council but they didn't know what to do so he turned to the Gods.
  • Hera was, of course, the first one to answer the call. She was now going to finally get her revenge. She told the king to give Heracles twelve labors that she came up with. They were supposedly impossible but she said that if he finished them then he will have redeemed himself.
