“ Okay everyone, now I want you to look at this clock and tell me what time this would be. Please write this on a piece of paper and I will be having you turn this in on Friday when you come to school. You can pause the video if you need more time to look at the clock.”
Finding the nearest minute on a clock *write this
*write, Answer= 6:47
*example of a time where you need to find nearest min
“If you got an answer of 6:47 then you are correct! If not then do not worry I will be giving more examples in class on Friday. Now let’s move on to working with a clock that doesn’t have the minutes labeled. Answer the correct time for the following clocks, when you write the time on you paper, also label what place you looked at. Again don’t rush through this. If you need more time feel free to pause the video. Now you have successfully learned how tell time by the looking at the nearest minute. Congratulations 3rd graders! See you all on Friday at school.”
In Slide 5, add pic of all 6 clocks, then write times above and below. Explain and then circle how you found answers.
