Storyboard Text

  • Scene 2
  • I don't know what to do with my life. I can't take care of this baby. My boyfriend left me and he was the supporter. I have no job. The only option must be abortion. Is abortion against the Church?
  • Scene 3
  • Hello Father, I wanted to ask you what the Church's view is on abortion.
  • The Church is against abortion. There are 3 main reasons why the Church is against abortion.
  • Scene 3
  • The first reason is because abortion goes against the moral law. Moral law is set by the objective norms of the people around us and by the people who lived before us. Killing goes against the moral law. The Church also believes that both the woman and the baby are negatively affected by abortions. The woman can't have a clear conscience after the grave sin she committed and this can cause depression.  The child is affected because it is killed. Another reason the Church is against abortion is because the Church believes that life begins at the moment of conception. Here is a paper the Church gives out about abortion and concption.
  • The pregnant woman is thinking out loud and decides to go to talk to her priest.
  • Scene 3
  • The woman asks the priest about the Church's view on abortion and he begins to tell her.
  • Scene 3
  • The Church encourages other alternatives to abortion such as giving the baby up for adoption.
  • The priest tells the woman the reasons why abortion is against the Church.
  • Scene 4
  • In the end, the woman did not have the abortion and she is happier than ever. The Church is helping her in anyway they can. She is glad she made the correct decision.
