  • Medea's husband, Jason, abandoned her and her sons for King Ceron's daughter, Glauke. Medea and her sons are banished from Corinth.
  • Medea begs King Ceron to let her family stay for one more day
  • Okay.
  • Please let me stay for one more day!
  • Afterwards she went to Aegeus, the King of Athens and promises to cure his sterility if he swears to let her stay.
  • I can help you but please let me stay!
  • Sure!
  • Medea convinces Jason that she is totally fine with his new marriage, and give him a poisoned grown and crown for his new wife.
  • I am fine with your new marriage with Glauke, but can you please let our sons stay in Corinth? I will give you this gossamer gown and a golden crown for Glauke as a present.
  • Glauke putted on the gifts from Medea. To her horror her flesh begin to riot and burn. Ceron threw himself on his daughter when he found her body and died with her.
  • Medea slaughter both of her sons and took their corpses with her despite Jason's pledge. She then fled to Athens riding a chariot pulled by dragons.
