Paleo (10,000-8,000 B.C.)
The Paleo was the first native american cultural group in the north america. The continent the Paleo traveled through was during the ice age and they had moved a lot because they were nomadic and they followed their food source so they would travel so much
Archaic (8,000 B.C. - 1,000 B.C.)
the archaic was the second native group but during this time the ice age was over so the manmmoths died and so they hunted and gathered turkey ,deer, and plants to eat. since they were hunters and gathers they could stay at a location longer. the archaic had develop axes and the hook to catch fish and pottery to collect food and cook them. the shelter the archaic had was made of dear skin which was portable so they could go to new locations with a shelter with them instead of finding a cave.
Woodlands developed horticulture to grow crops like greens and squash but, also developed the bow and arrow to increase their accuracy . Since they had all of this they decided to stay in the same area using the wattle and the daub to create their homes . Establish religion during this time and made structures of deity or sacred animals .
