Hey Johnson, want to go for a swim?
Megan is asking Johnson if he wants to go for a swim
But I can't swim very well
Johnson can't swim
Positive: He trusted her to teach him Negative: He didn't know how to swim so it ended up with him drowning Environment: Beach Why I chose it: I chose the beach because I feel like a lot of dangerous things happen at this particular place. Factors that influence the risk taking behaviour: She was offering to help him learn how to swim Outcomes: The outcome was that he ended up drowning Consenquences: He drowned due to her not teaching him, no supervisors and he didnt know how to swim. 2 strategies to minimise possible harm: Always have an adult supervise you while swimming and make sure you practise Justify: I think those would be successful because if an adult is supervising they could jump in if you're drowning/struggling and they won't swim away.
Oh come on! I'll teach you
Megan is influencing him to come for a swim, saying that she'll teach him how to swim
Johnson is currently drowning due to his lack of swimming skills
HELP ME! MEGAN!! I'M DROWNING
He drowned due to not knowing how to swim
Megan was too far away so unfortunately, Johnson died.
