Storyboard Text

  • Hey Johnson, want to go for a swim?
  • Megan is asking Johnson if he wants to go for a swim
  • But I can't swim very well
  • Johnson can't swim
  • Positive: He trusted her to teach him Negative: He didn't know how to swim so it ended up with him drowning Environment: Beach Why I chose it: I chose the beach because I feel like a lot of dangerous things happen at this particular place. Factors that influence the risk taking behaviour: She was offering to help him learn how to swim Outcomes: The outcome was that he ended up drowning Consenquences: He drowned due to her not teaching him, no supervisors and he didnt know how to swim. 2 strategies to minimise possible harm: Always have an adult supervise you while swimming and make sure you practise Justify: I think those would be successful because if an adult is supervising they could jump in if you're drowning/struggling and they won't swim away.
  • Oh come on! I'll teach you
  • Megan is influencing him to come for a swim, saying that she'll teach him how to swim
  • Johnson is currently drowning due to his lack of swimming skills
  • HELP ME! MEGAN!! I'M DROWNING
  • He drowned due to not knowing how to swim
  • Megan was too far away so unfortunately, Johnson died.
