  • Mountain st Helens is one of the best scenic mountain in the world. Mountain St. Helens is 40000 years old . It’s elevation is 8,363 feet. Mountain St.Helens is located in the Cascade Range in Washington state.
  • Native people living in the mountain.
  • Mountain St. Helens is visited by more than 500,000 visitors a year. Tourists could do various different activities. Activities like :1)- Helicopter tour of the Mountain, 2)- climb the mountain. 3)- Hike the Mountain by following the trail.3)- Do Fishing in the cold water lake.4)-Tourists can also explore the ape caves on the southern side of the mountain. The best season to o vist mountain St. Helens is winter.During summer tourists can go to the Johnston Ridge obeservatory and can have a look at the wildflowers that bloom during this season.

  • Mountain St.Helens is home to large species of animals. Animals such as majestic elf , Black tailed deer,mountain goats,American black bear and cougar. The population of animals has increase D since the last 50 years. During Summer many wildflowers bloom. Flowers like Indian paintbrush, lupine, penstemon and many others. Music one will listen to is : Mountain music
  • The main Native tribe that lives in this mountain is the Sahaptin. They called this mountain, mount Loowit. The mountain is also of sacred importance to the Cowlitz and Yakima tribe that also lived in this area. The mountain has a significant influence of these tribes as they left their songs, rituals,myths and many more . Even the trails are named after them.
