  • Etta James was born on January 25, 1938. She was born in Los Angeles, California. Etta James moved to Los Angeles. Etta James originally named Jamesetta Hawkins. Etta James died January 20, 2012. She died Riverside, California.
  • Etta James won the NAACP Image Award in 1990, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, and Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2001. Her most famous song was At Last it was played at most weddings.
  • Etta James was a singer of many different kinds of music genres. Some of the genres are Gospel, Jazz, rhythm and blues, rock 'n' roll. Etta James songs had story to them.
