  • SIGNING OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
  • Important women
  • Valley Forge was one of the most harsh times the colonists has to undergo and experience. This winter was of traveling in freezing cold snow, some with no shoes and supplies. Many got very sick and could not last. In result Many of the men died.
  • The declaration Of Independence was a very important document and still is to this day. The main author of this was Thomas Jefferson, followed by many other helpful people who were strong patriots. John Hancock made sure his name was surely visible as at the time he was very important.
  • Many women were very loyal to the patriots and were secretive to help them. The women would stay away from the British and refuse to marry them etc.. Many women would be spies and others would help sew things for the patriots.
