  • War finally ended and peace was made and no one else got hurt.
  • British attacked Baltimore/ Fort McHenry and a commander named Francis Scott Key watched as bombs burst over. " By the dawn's early light" Key was moved by patriotic feelings and wrote a poem called "the star-spangled Banner
  • War ended because the British thought that it wasn't worth it. Officially the war ended on January 8, 1815. This showed that there was no winner and there disputes were unresolved still
  • A battle after the war ended but before the word reached New Orleans. January 8, 1815, British attacked the city of New Orleans and many of British Soliders died. Bristish took it as a sign of victory and there commander Andrew Jackson was a hero.
