  • You are just like your grandfather but you must finish what he started
  • You must protect the children with your life I am counting on you
  • Temptations

  • We need to go home being here isn't helping you
  • Abyss

  • Jacob is very overwhelmed through out the story because he has to not only live up to his grandfather but he also has to protect the children and Miss Peregrine is counting on him to keep them alive and kill off the hallows.
  • Revelation
  • I am leaving
  • Jacob almost got thrown of his journey because his father said he wasn't getting better so they should just go home, Jacob thought about it but ran away again and never looked back except to say goodbye to his father forever.
  • Transformation
  • I see you
  • Jacob has to kill the hallows and Golan to save all the children and get Miss. Peregrine back. Jacob kills Golan and all of the hallows. He also gets Miss. Peregrine back and all of the children are still alive.
  • Atonement
  • Emma writes a note to Jacobs father letting him know that he will be safe and she sent him a photo of Abe to ensure they are real and not his imagination. After the note was sent Jacob says goodbye and leaves with Emma and the children to different loops and go on more adventures.
  • Jacob starts to embrace his inner peculiar through out the book but really finds out what he is capable of when he is able to see the hallows and be able to kill them and save the children after he kills Golan and the hallows he is able to see that he is peculiar and excepts it.
  • He comes at peace with himself knowing that his grandfather was right and Jacob finished his journey and fulfilled what was needing to be done by him.
