Election of 1796
We the federalists choose John Adams as our candidate!
We the Republicans, choose Thomas Jefferson for our canidate!
Both of the parties had rallies and made posters to have support from the people.
Each presidential elector was to vote twice, with the candidate who received the most votes becoming president, so Hamilton told people to drop their vote for Adams.
The people found out about his plan and then it was the day for the people to vote!
Then John Adams won the presidential election and become President and Jefferson become the vice President
YAYYYY I Won!!!
