Storyboard Text

  • Dill and Jem were going to peep through Boo Radley's window using the loose shutter to see if they could get a look of him.
  • Nobody would see them at night, Atticus would be so deep in a book to where he wouldn't be able to hear anything, and it would be easier for them to look into the dark house in the dark.
  • We decided to go to the gate that divided the garden from the backyard and the back of the Radley's place was less inviting than the front of the house.
  • "Dill, no(Scout 71)."
  • "Let's try the back window(Dill 71)."
  • Jem simply put his foot on the bottom step and as the step squeaked, he stood there still. As Jem walked onto the porch of the Radley's place, there was a shadow of a man wearing a hat.
  • At first Scout had thought the mysterious shadow was from a tree. However, there was no wind blowing that night. And after all, trees don't walk.
