Storyboard Text

  • I am King George the Third. I have made a mistake, it was helping my colonies.
  • King George sent the colonist to the colonies to battle for expansion, but were struggling against the French and Indian. King George got most of France's land so he gave the Indians all the land west of the Appalachian mountains to avoid further war. Some colonist got mad and rebelled so King George sent his troops.
  • The colonist rebelled against the soldiers, because they thought that King George was being unfair.
  • King George decided to punish them by charging taxes on goods. They rebelled against those too. Then one day, they dressed like Native Americans and sabotaged the boat that was transporting the taxed tea.
  • This will show the King were not gonna pay taxes
  • In 1775 the American Revolution started.
  • The British are going to capture me, but first I better warn my friends in Concord.
  • The red coats are coming!
  • Stop right there Revere!
  • In 1783, King George agreed to America's independence by signing the treaty of Paris. America won the revolution.
