The colonists came to James Town in Virginia in 1607. they had to use ships to travel around and to trade things to make a profit and better money to get other things like gold fur or silver. In James Town they have to make a landing they had to find a way to grow food that they could have when they run out of food to eat and they began to grow food and other crops then they would saver them in barrows and save them until they had needed them.
