Storyboard Text

  • Cambodian genocide
  • All the worthless people in this place will die soon!
  • Who created this idea?
  • I love bones and skulls.
  • Why did it start?
  • Now justice can be brought to these people.
  • The Cambodian genocide was one of the world's most tragic event that happened in the nineteen hundreds. And about 1.5 to 3 million people died in that era.
  • When did it start?
  • I could turn this place into my torture prison.
  • It was Pol Pot's idea. Pol Pot was first known as saloth sar then he was later known as Pol Pot he was born 1925 then died in 1998. He died of old age.
  • When did it end?
  • They destroyed my prison and built a school instead.
  • The main reason that it started is because pol pot said that anyone who was lives in the cites and wasn't loyal to capitalism would be tortured and killed.
  • Summarize
  • I can remember when my grandfather died in that house.
  • The genocide started in 1975 and it was going on until the Khmer rouge was overthrown by the Vietnamese in 1978. After that they continued the mayhem.
  • The genocide ended in 1979 because Pol Pot was deposed and then Phnom Penh fell to him then he ended the madness that pol pot created.
  • In the end I think that it was a very bad idea t make this genocide and hopefully it doesn't happen again in any country soon.
