My brothers with their after school program they would go to the playground. They have finished all of their homework or classwork. They would wait in the playground until my mom would go and pick them. She usually goes and picks them up at 5:00pm. They would be able to play in the playground with their classmates. My brother was in 1st grade and my sister in 5th grade.
In my mom's work interviews she would dress up nice and put her hair up in a bun. The companies she would go to were of a high job requirement. She only studied one year of college and got the Bachelor's degree. She still tried hard to get any job that she is capable with. Some other job requirements were up to 3 years of college. That was really hard for her mostly needing to take my baby sister to the interviews.
Three months later my mom would now take us to the park and out to get distracted not to be just shut inside our home. My mom would get a half time and would have our aunt take care of us while she works. We had to spend time together to not be just bored or be home just doing work or being stressed.
Everyday, after I finally got to buy a chromebook with my mom's struggle. I would always get to check my email for an email from the hospital. I was so anxious to get an email from the hospital my dad was in. I was expecting an email of appreciation from the eamil to go see my dad. I waited a couple of weeks more.
Close to the 6th month we got out card delivered saying that we were able to go and visit my dad now. We were so excited that we cried of joy. My mom couldn't stop crying on our way to the hospital. She was just so happy so see my dad again. Once we got there my brother started crying because he seen my dad in the hospital bed. My baby sister also started crying and my mom went down on her knees and grabbed my dad's hands. I was there crying too, trying to get my sister to be quiet.
Three days after we went to the hospital my dad was finally with us. The ambulance delivered him to our home. We were so happy to have my dad again. It was such a great huge struggle working on our own. Mostly, us being young women and just girls. We missed him because we seen how my mom would struggle to get us where to live, food, and go to school. My life has been better.
