Storyboard Text

  • Interphase
  • I don't feel so well.
  • OMG! What is happening to me.
  • Prophase
  • Help!! There is another me next to me and my backpack is misssing
  • Metaphase
  • Ahh!! Who is moving me ?
  • Woah!!! Is gravity moving me?
  • Stephanie is feeling very sick. What she doesn't know is that there is a problem with her cells, they are beginning to divide. They are going through mitosis. She is now going through a process called interphase, where all her energy is being stored to begin mitosis. The DNA is formed as chromatin, which looks like yarn.
  • Anaphase
  • I'm not sure, but I'm getting scared.
  • Stephanie is now going through a process called prophase. First, she duplicated. Then, throughout her body, DNA and spindle fibers are forming, and her and her ghost are moving to opposite sides, while her nuclear membrane (her backpack) disappeared.
  • Telophase
  • Are we now stuck in a bubble?
  • Now, her and her ghost are going through a process called metaphase. They are lining up on top of each other and the spindle fibers are connecting to the centromere of the chromosomes, which are the Stephanies'.
  • Cytokinesis
  • Are these games over yet?
  • The Stephanies' split through a process callled anaphase. The chromatids, the Stephanies', are seperating and moving to opposite sides.
  • Another nuclear membrane (daughter cells) is formed around the Stephanies' during a process called telophase.
  • Are we going in someone's dream?
  • The Stephanies' who were one cell are now two cells and they are back to normal.
