Storyboard Text

  • Why did you do this. No, No No!
  • I got a promotion today.
  • It was a sunny day. The mail man dropped off the mail through door. Scrambling through the mail, Sammie chews on an envelope.
  • No not all.
  • Have you got my envelope in the mail?
  • Molly, a nine yer old girl, notices that Sammie was chewing on an envelope. She then takes the envelope from him and says, "Bad dog, remember that Mom said if you are causing trouble she'll take you to the pound."
  • Is this my promotion letter?
  • Molly gets the envelope and puts it under the mat on the dining table. Her mom comes home and then recently gets a call from her boss saying,"I sent you a promotion form that you need to sign. It should have been sent to you from the mail earlier.
  • I'm sorry mom. I just didn't want Sammie to go to the pound.
  • It's okay. Just know next time not to lie, because I find out sooner or later.
  • Molly notices that the envelope that Sammie had was the form her mom needed. She then hides it. Mom checked the mail and didn't see the envelope. Mom asks Molly," Have you seen a letter sent for me from work?" Molly answers,"No, I didn't."
  • The next day, Mom sees a torn piece from her promotion form. She then realizes that dried slobber over it, and knows that Sammie got it. She knows that Molly knew about it, and waits for her to confess.
  • Molly keeps changing the hiding spot of the envelope, and keeps lying to her mom. Then later she goes to confess to her mom. Mom said," I knew that you have been lying to me, Just next time, when you lie the truth will always triumph lies.
