In order for your injury to heal your cells must go through the cell cycle for your cells to divide.
Hey Doc, I think we have an injury on our hands.
Now I am going to give you a cast to get you ready for the next stage in the cell cycle which is prophase. In this stage the DNA condenses into Chromosomes.
From what the doctor told me the next phase your cells have to go through is metaphase which is when the chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell and get ready to get split apart in Anaphase. With the help of the spindle fibers!
The Doctor Said my cells need to go through the cell cycle, I think I remember that from school. So in Anaphase the spindle fibers pull the chromosomes to opposite sides of the cell to get ready for the next phase, Telophase.
My leg is feeling a little better. My cells must be going through telephone right now.
Looks like your cells have performed cytokinesis. So that means you could play sports again. The cell cycle rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay!!!!! Thanks Doc. Now I can start playing football again. And hopefully I don't get run over by a bull again!
