  • RESPONSE TO STIMULI
  • In the warmer months, a deer loses a substantial amount of fur to adapt to the summer weather. This is a natural Response to Stimuli in order to make Homeostasis easier. This is like when a cell releases proteins to make a lighter load when there is a high concentration of them.
  • HOMEOSTASIS
  • Homeostasis is balancing an organism's internal conditions via it's environment around it. Homeostasis and Response to Stimuli go hand in hand based upon the fact that they both are a reaction. The Golgi bodies distribute and shift around interior elements for comfort.
  • "It's hot in here!
  • "Let me turn the AC up!"
  • Metabolism: Metabolism is when an organism or cell intakes matter like food to produce energy for the organism or the cell. The Mitochondria produces energy for the cell.
  • No Growth
  • Growth
  • Growth is an organism or a cell getting larger at a natural rate. The nucleus has the DNA necessary to get larger.
  • 53
  • Development is when something matures, like a human matures in their teenage years or like a deer matures. Cells mature too, from fall to spring the glucose is different in plant cells, giving them their golden color in Sept, October, and November.
