Malik Bhago a rich local man, invited Hindus from all 4 castes for a feast
When Guru Nanak had not shown up to Malik Bhago's feast he was asked to come to Malik's home. Nanak was questioned as to why he hadn't come. His reply was that he believed that everyone should have been invited
Guru Nanak asked both Bhai Lalo and Malik Bhago to bring him a chaptatti each. Bhai Lalo's was made of coarse meal whereas Malik Bhago's was finest wheat.
Guru Nanak squeezed each chapatti and out of Bhai Lalo's came milk and Malik Bhago's came blood. The milk shows the he had earned his through hard work but Malik Bhago got his through bribery
