  • Jacobs grandfather shows him pictures of peculiar children, like kids floating, and holding giant rocks. As Jacob grew up he started to not believe the pictures were real.The one day Jacob gets a call at work from his grandfather and he was acting paranoid. So Jacob went to his souse and saw him dead in the woods but that is not all he saw he also saw a monster
  • Climax
  • His grandfathers last few words were," Go to the island, Yakob. Here it is not safe." It took a while for Jacob to know what that means but after going through all of the items in his house he found out he meant, go to Carinholm island. After begging his parents to let him go they finally said yes.
  • Falling action
  • When Jacob got to the island the first thing he did was see the house where the peculiar children lived. When he was walking he saw a girl running through the bog, and he chased after her.
  • Resolution
  • He went through the bog and followed her into the cairn . When he came back out it was 3-9-1940 he saw that the house looked brand new and that it was no longer abandoned. There were also the peculiar children living there. 
  • Ms.Peregrine the head mistress introduces the children. The girl he chased, her name was Emma and Jacob and her ended up falling in love. She tells him that the monsters are real. The monsters  end up finding them and take ms.Peregrine. 
  • Lets go find ms.Peregrine!
  • The kids decide to go find ms.Peregrine and get her back. They hoped on a boat and fought the monster to get her back, but when they were fighting the an evil man who followed Jacob on to the island named Golan said something about a plan. The children and Jacob decided to go find where Golan and the monsters are hiding, and planning to do something horrible.
