  • A Steer's Life 
  • Leaving the Farm
  • The Feedlot 
  • The young steer spends the first six months with his mother in pastures. 
  • Injections
  • The calf is loaded on a truck and taken away from the farm and its mother.
  • Fully Grown
  • The steer is taken to a feedlot, where it is kept penned up and fed a certain diet to prepare it for butchering. 
  • Moving to second story
  • The steer is injected with Revlar, a synthetic estrogen to increase growth faster.
  • The steer is almost full grown at 1,200 pounds and is moved into a lot with other steers who are almost ready to be butchered.
  • The steers are moved to the second story, to prepare for butcher.
