Exposition~Exposition~ the people in the village was in a circle on a sunny day in the summertime.
Conflict~ No one knows the original purpose of the lottery.
Rising action~ all families from around the village gather in the center of the little town.
Climax~ Mr. Summers looked at Bill Hutchinson, and Bill unfolded his paper and showed it. It was blank. Tessie got picked for the stone.
Falling Action~ the drawing of the slips of paper and the "winner" Tessie was discovered. as the town gathered around Tessie to give her her "winnings" of being stoned to death.
Resolution~ Ms.Hutchinson screamed, and they was upon her. Then Ms.Hutchinson died.
