  • Is the law we just passed constitutional?
  • Congress proposes and passes laws and declares war. They can override the president's veto with a two-thirds vote. They also propose amendments to the Constitution with a two-thirds vote.
  • Article 4 - Full Faith and Credit
  • But i'm not in that state!
  • The president approves or vetoes laws and serves as commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces. He also prepares the federal government's budget.
  • Article 5 - Amending the Constitution
  • Yes!
  • The supreme court hears court cases that they choose to and can decide if the laws congress has passes are constitutional or not.
  • Federalism
  • I believe in big government!
  • Full faith and credit is the obligation of states to respect the official legal decisions of other states.
  • We still have to respect their laws and deny you custody.
  • The Constitution can be amended if two-thirds of congress votes for the amendment.
  • We outnumber you two to one. the Constitution is amended.
  • Yes.
  • No!
  • Federalism was a political party in the early U.S. that believed in giving more power to the federal government rather than to the state governments.
