Hey! I'm Emma & I'm here to teach you about credit reports & scores! First of all with credit scores the higher the better
With credit reports you are offered 3 scores a year, one from each company!
There are 4 parts to a credit report that describe what info it contains
Credit Scores reflect your credit history and determine how eligible you are for things like loans, insurance and other financial things. If you have a higher score it shows you have done what you're supposed to and more companies will trust you and approve you.
Credit reports are something you should check annually. You must apply for them but they are fairly easy to access. The organizations are called Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. This way they allow you to check up on your credit and make sure it's all good.
These 4 parts includes personal information, credit account info, inquiry info, and public record info. These are usually broken down so you can read it and understand it easier.
