In this scene, Macbeth and Banquo meet the three witches. After they meet the witches, they tell Macbeth that he will be King and Thane of Cawdor. The witches tell Banquo that his sons will be King, but he won't.
Malcolm tells Duncan that Macbeth served well and Duncan decides to make him Thane of Cawdor. The king then tells Macbeth that he will be visiting his home .
Lady Macbeth manipulates Macbeth into killing Duncan so that he can be King. Macbeth does not want to kill Duncan because he knows it is the wrong thing to do.
Macbeth Kills Duncan and regrets it as soon as it happens.
Duncan was found and everyone is discussing what they should do. Macbeth admits to killing the servants to prove his loyalty to the King.
Malcolm and Donalbain decide that they have to leave because they recognize that they are in danger. They tell no one where they are going, or that they are leaving.
