Storyboard Text

  • Opening scene
  • Nemo swimming in the ocean
  • Marlin and Dory looking for Nemo
  • First scene will contain an image of the Disney Pixar castle from the internet to introduce to my audience what studio the animation is made by. This image will be an eye level camera angle to give the impression of first person looking directly at the castle as if it was in front of the,. It will last 23 frames and have music throughout the whole animation.
  • Subtitles
  • This scene will contain a PNG image of Nemo swimming in the ocean to show how he is moving further away from his family. This will contain a motion tween that will last 32 frames long to show smooth movement of him swimming. This is also a easy tool to use as it is quick if you understand how to use it. It will be the typical eye level angle with music over the animation. The music will get faster to make the audience feel anxious and make the animation more tense.
  • Shark chasing Marlin and Dory
  • This scene will last 27 frames long. It will be an eye level camera angle to make the audience feel as if they are looking directly at them. Marlin and Dory will be PNG images swimming after Nemo. This will be done by a motion tween. Music again, to be played over the animation. The music will build up to become more dramatic and make my audience feel curious whether Marlin will find his lost sun.
  • Still image
  • Subtitles created on Publisher which will say 'Will Marlin find his son?'. This text will be bold white letters that will last 40 frames. It will contain an alpha effect to make the animation more interesting. It will also contain a motion tween for smooth movement.
  • Symbols of Marlin and Dory swimming away from the shark. This will contain a motion tween and will last 30 frames long. The motion tween will give the illusion they are swimming. It will be the easiest tool to create this movement as it is quick. It will be eye level camera angle and have music played throughout.
  • Still JPEG image of the shark, Marlin and Dory. This will last 20 frames long and have music played over. The image will be an eye level camera angle.
