Mary returns home, but her parents got a phone call from the priest. Her father is furious while her mother is disappointed.
Mary's parents have brought in a psychiatrist to try and cure Mary, who they call Mark, of "gender dysmorphia." Mary insists that nothing is wrong with her and runs out of the house.
Mary runs through the streets, calling all the Angels to try and find somewhere to sleep that night. People pass by, dressed all in white. Most push by rudely, but one tries to sell her angel dust and tells her of a place to sleep on a roof.
Mary ends up on the roof of a building where she contemplates suicide. She keeps feeling and addressing her own stubble and other secondary sex characteristics.
One by one, the drag queens file in completely in mask. In a sort of chorus, they tell Mary that she would miss everything beautiful about the world if she died now.
As the Angels' voices rise to a crescendo and the drumbeat quickens, Mary gets on her knees and begins to pray. The lights fade from purple to black. End of Show.
