Hello. My name is Thomas Jefferson. I am the Secretary of State. I am figuring out who is right and wrong between Myself and Alexander Hamilton between the Power of the Federal Government, The Economy, and Foreign Relations.
I believe that On the subject of the Power of the Federal Government that the Central Government should be weak and have a strong state government. My opponent believes in a strong central government and weak state government. He believes that people aren't actually made good people and that people think about themselves at themselves at the heat of the moment. I believe that people make mistakes and people should do what is good for the people.
About the Strict against Loose battle, I have a strict interpretation of the Constitution. I feel that we should be banned from controlling areas that are not in the Constitution. Alexander believed that if the Constitution had a Loose interpretation, the country would expand the federal government's powers.
Another topic I have to argue about with my opponent is economy. I think that if we keep farming and keep living life with rural houses, life will go good. Mr. Hamilton believes that if we manufacture products and sell them to other countries, then we can make more money. Also making more jobs and homes for women and children.
The last topic I have to talk to you about is Foreign Relations. I think if we work with France, we would get lots of help, because they have helped us during the revolution they can help us again. Alexander still disagrees with me saying we should make friends with the French. He felt it is was a more formal and proper society.
This has been fun. I had had a lot of time to talk to you and I have enjoyed it. I hope you have learned a lot from me.
