This is Will, Will loves to eat apples.
There are 3 types of teeth, the molars are chewing and grinding. Canines are for ripping, and incisors are for cutting and slicing. The tongue gives saliva to mix them all together.
when the food is swallowed it goes down the oesophagus and has two muscles, the longitudinal muscles and the circular muscles.
The food is then mixed with acid within the stomach and that kills the bacteria that the food brings.
The small intestine consists of three parts. The first part, called the duodenum, connects to the stomach. The middle part is the jejunum. The third part, called the ileum, attaches to the colon.
Undigested food is made into faeces and stored before passing through the anus.
