When Eva was little, she performed a in play about how she experienced the rise of antisemitism and racist laws in Nazi Germany before the Holocaust.
In March 1933, Hitler came to power. He made everybody's life hard. Including Eva's. A little while later, The night of the broken glass came and Eva's father died. It was a hard life for Eva.
So then Eva and her mother took about a year to leave to Germany, where a cousin lived. But sadly, the Nazis didn't let them. Soon Germany invaded Poland and ignited WWII.
Today Eva is still alive and in the Holocaust Center's Speakers Bureau performing her show for students in the Seattle area.
