Haley and Peyton are sitting at their favorite place to have an after school snack. Lucas who is autistic walks by, Lucas sees the two girls laughing at him.
When Lucas got home he told his mom that the girls had been laughing at him. She tried to explain to him that sometimes other people didn't understand that he was different. Lucas's mother told him he needed to ignore the girls.
The next day at school, Lucas saw the two girls, Haley and Peyton. He did what his mom told him to do and he ignored them.
Lucas was sitting with his brother Nathan at lunch. Haley and Peyton went up to Lucas to apologize for laughing and making fun of him. They realized that making fun of Lucas because he was different than them was wrong. They were going to stop judging people for being different. They asked Lucas and Nathan if they wanted to be friends.
The new group of friends go to the fair. They learn not to judge someone for who they are.
